1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PinPint ("the App") at pinpint.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and contributors of pub suggestions.

2 Age Restriction

PinPint is strictly for users aged 18 years or older. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor.

PinPint does not encourage excessive alcohol consumption. The App is a discovery and social tool. Please drink responsibly.

3 Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• One account per person: creating multiple accounts is not permitted
• You may delete your account at any time
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

4 User-Generated Content

When you add ratings, notes, drink prices, or suggest pubs, you grant PinPint a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content within the App.

You agree not to submit content that is:

• False, misleading or defamatory
• Offensive, abusive or discriminatory
• In violation of any third party's rights
• Spam or commercially motivated

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines.

Reporting and blocking

Every piece of content another person can put in front of you can be reported, and every person can be blocked.

• To report a message, a passport or a photo: press and hold it, or use the “⋯” button beside it, and choose Report. On a public passport the link is at the bottom of the page.
• To block someone: the same menu. Blocking is mutual, you will not see them anywhere on PinPint and they will not see you, including on a crawl you are both on. They are not told, and you can unblock from the same menu.

We review every report within 24 hours and remove content or suspend accounts where these guidelines have been broken. If something needs attention faster than that, email danielhowley@outlook.ie and mark it “URGENT, Safety”.

5 Pub Information

PinPint provides pub locations, opening hours and pricing as a convenience. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is current or correct. Always verify opening hours and details directly with the venue before visiting.

6 Gender Information

PinPint asks for gender at signup. Answering is optional, and "Prefer not to say" is the default. Where it is provided, it is used only for aggregate insight into who uses PinPint. This data:

• Is never attributed to any individual
• Is never displayed to other users
• Is never sold or shared with third parties
• Can be removed at any time by contacting us, or by deleting your account

7 Pub Crawl Feature

The pub crawl routing feature is provided for entertainment and planning purposes only. PinPint is not responsible for:

• The accuracy of routing directions
• Any incidents that occur during a pub crawl
• Users' decisions regarding alcohol consumption

Always ensure you and your group have safe transport arrangements. Never drink and drive.

8 Intellectual Property

The PinPint name, logo, design and codebase are the intellectual property of PinPint. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.

The PinPint™ trademark is asserted. All rights reserved.

9 Limitation of Liability

PinPint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, we are not liable for:

• Any loss or damage arising from use of the App
• Inaccurate pub information
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Loss of user data

10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

11 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of PinPint after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
